Laser ablation masks and plates are evaluated for dot area, ruling, and dot quality more accurately
than with a densitometer. Video Micrometer Measures Any Feature On an Image; bar codes, line weight,
dot diameter, etc. True halftone shoulder angle can be measured directly on a plate cross
section with the Video Protractor. Images are captured, automatically analyzed, and optionally
stored and printed on the PC.
Plate Quality Flexo (PQF) ISO Relational Database
Captures all relevant data at the beginning of the process, automatically storing measurements,
plate images, plate and print characteristics, cutback curves, as well as all important job data;
including plate type, ink and chemistry data, press, screening, CTP engine, job number and time
stamp, and more. The relational database automatically links customer data, job numbers, and
reference values. All measurement data and images are easily captured to be sent as an email
attachment for job and production verification. Satisfies the most demanding QC departments’
requirements.

Laboratory Grade halftone standard plaque maintains a database
of ISO instrument verification.
